Lincoln, Hall Drive, LN6 7SW

Car Park - located off Hall Drive. The car park is made of concrete or tarmac type surface, it is flat and easy to navigate. There are no parking place markings. Although advertised as small, the car park appears to be a good size. For reasons unknown, the car park is not included in the park's signage.
Pathways - through the woodland area, the paths are a mixture of compacted soil and leaves or tarmac. The paths do undulate but are manageable in a wheelchair. Some of the informal paths may have a sizeable height change or a ridge when joining a tarmac path. Generally the paths are navigable for a manual wheelchair, however there are some challenges, such as the arched bridge, see photo.
Bandstand - this was in the middle of a large, grassed area. It is surrounded by a wide circle of gravel. We were surprised to see there is no path leading to the bandstand. To approach the bandstand visitors go across the short cut grass area.
Amenities - the park has a cafe with inside and outside sitting area. The toilets at the cafe includes a disability toilet. Boultham Park also has a bowls green and a children's play area.
Atmosphere - on the day of our visit the weather was cold and overcast and only a few visitors were are the park. This is a park in the middle of a residential area and likely to be full of visitors on days of good weather. At the cafe and on a notice board there were posters advertising events and clubs at the park. It's good to see the park is the centre for community activity.
