Visited 2 July 2024. Situated on Burton Road in Lincoln, Indigo Crow is a small art gallery and shop with workshop space.

Parking - there is no road side disability parking nearby. Disability parking can be found at Westgate's carparks or it is worth considering the Museum of Lincolnshire Life which is on the opposite corner to gallery. We asked the museum if we could use their carpark to visit Indigo Crow and the museum was happy to allow this.

Entrance - this is a manual door. The pavement slops down from the entrance to a pedestrian crossing which is directly opposite the gallery. This can prove challenging with a manual wheelchair as the chair has to be stopped on a slope while the front door is opened.

Ease of movement - this was good, considering the small size of the gallery a wheelchair can move without too much restriction. There are two small shop rooms just behind the front gallery space. The items for sale could be seen without difficulty and within easy reach. To leave these rooms it is best to back out rather than turn round.

Lighting - the gallery was brightly lit but not garish and there is natural light from the large windows.

Sound - there was the sound of traffic coming from outside the building. In the gallery, there was no music just the occasional chatter of people.

Atmosphere - a relaxed atmosphere and felt at ease to look around the gallery and shop area as we wished.

Staff - helpful and friendly.

Workshop - Indigo Crow hold regular art and craft workshops at the back of the building. This workshop area was not visited during this trip.
